Iran attacking Israel

Many back then refused to admit who was at the root of all those problems.
Many didn't know. Even more didn't care.
Our future always starts now.

News reports so far are very sparse on details, but it appears that only a few Iranian weapons made it into Israel, doing only minor damage and no fatalities. Most were destroyed by air defenses. I saw no mention of Israeli retaliatory measures.

"Multiple" drones were shot down by U.S. forces as well
as Israel's Iron Dome defenses, ABC and Fox have reported.
U.S. actions occurred even before drones neared Israel.

As an aside to today's actions, Israeli and U.S. F-35s as
early as August, 2022 carried out missions over Iran to
test its air defense radar. These maneuvers were
executed in case this day were to come.

The stock markets might be down, but I think I should invest in the "Great Military Industrial Complex"! It's time for all to reload. Probably means more shortages in ammo and components.
Everybody should go out and buy up remaining supplies to avoid shortages. Ready, set, and go!

...first stop, toilet paper aisle.

From the Associated Press Sunday morning:

“At my direction, to support the defense of Israel, the U.S. military moved aircraft and ballistic missile defense destroyers to the region over the course of the past week,” Biden said in a statement late Saturday. “Thanks to these deployments and the extraordinary skill of our servicemembers, we helped Israel take down nearly all of the incoming drones and missiles.”

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin in a statement said the U.S. took out dozens of the attacks, but did not provide details on ships or aircraft involved in the operation that commanders had been preparing for over the past two weeks

Gas prices always go up with the coming
of summer and the refinery switch-overs
to summer formulae. And oil production
is now at a record high in the U.S.

If more U.S. production has to be exported
for European needs, means more profit
for the oil companies.

Just business as usual.

Recall how this relatively cheap and completely ineffective Iranian retaliation started. Israel deliberately targeted two Iranians in an Iranian Consulate with airstrikes in a sovereign nation. Let's not get all 'het up' about how it's shocking and unexpected.

Nobody in the world thought this was unexpected. A blind man could see this coming. Hell they announced it.

From the news I've read, Iran has basically said its done with its "attack" and that they're sure they taught Israel a lesson, blah blah.

So, it's nothing short of not wanting to look weak. I've read they've deployed their "morality police" to re-educate anyone in their country who disagrees with their move, like usual.

But hey, with the current "leadership" we have, and so many dumpster fires around the world they've helped start, the year is young...

To paraphrase Michael Corleone:

“Keep your friends close and your enemies within range.”
