2 days ago it was about 92 degrees here in flyover Wyoming. At 1130 right now it is 52 degrees. New snow last night on the mountain across the way...and the sun is shining the skwerls are playing and it just started raining.pretty hard. We musta had a black cloud slide over the house or something. Was talking to a friend back in Md where I used to live...94 degrees and 95% humidity with clear skies. I think I is the lucky one though

We had quite a blow last night as a cold front passed through. Noticed that there were freeze warnings for Northern Nevada. It was actually under 70°F this morning, and we haven't seen that in weeks. Forecast high is 94°F, which will feel balmy after the 108°F we got at the weekend. It's been the hottest start to June on record. Sunday onwards show 110°F in the forecast. Contributions for my next electricity bill gratefully accepted. :)

Our high today is supposed to be 64 degrees. The highest temp predicted over the next 14 days is 69 degrees. Nighttime temps will be in the low to mid 50's. We don't get a lot of beautiful weather here on the coast but at least we don't get much extreme weather.

We use an old horse trailer for a house for the chickens. They just retreated to the trailer. They don't like rain. Course we get eggs...about 5 a day from 11 chickens...but they keep the area clear of rattlenakes and other critters...and attract young yotes...Like shooting baited ducks...not that I ever did that And now it has quit raining.

Yesterday the heat index reached 107°

Instead of taking my usual four 1.2 mile walks I took five .7 mile walks.

It was like breathing jet exhaust.

On my last walk a neighbor had his lawn sprinkler covering his sidewalk. I stood under it for about 30 seconds.

I felt like a kid again.

Am not above soaking down a bandana and ball cap for the morning walk. Have warned the neighbors if they see me laying down on the sidewalk, it ain't a nap. If it gets too hot, sometimes discretion is better part of valor.

It was predicted a few days ago that a cold front would bring upwards of a foot of snow to the higher elevations in Montana. It isn't unusual that those surrounding States would benefit from a drop in temps.

Those that paid attention here in Colorado already knew about the 20 degree drop in temps

I have introduced myself to everyone on three surrounding streets so if my landing gear folds up they will know who they are doing CPR on.

After the recent deluge the wind finally shifted fro SSW to the east from the ocean.
Temps down about 8 deg. with slightly lower humidity, finally mowed my shin high lawn.

It's been in the mid to high 90s in central Texas for the last couple of weeks. With the high dew point, the heat index has been over 100 every afternoon.

I've shifted my bike rides to early morning, before the kiln gets up to glazing temperature.

That ended today and it was a very pleasant evening. We're supposed to get rain and cooler temperatures during the rest of the week.

We've had some kinda' unusual weather here in Spokane lately too.
It has rained off and on about every day for the last week or so.
Saturday we got some sleet/hail mixed in with the rain.
That isn't exactly "normal" weather for mid June in these parts.
But, weather is pretty unpredictable every where all the time.
Always has been, always will be IMO...

36 this morning ...It's juneteenth or whatever. Sposed to make 75 today. My wife wanted the furnace on yesterday evening...Back to spring summer

It's been hot and sunny out here in the mountains of West Virginia and I'm lovin' it.
I've been out hiking daily and lounging in the sun with a good cigar.
The only issue is that my sleeping fan quit working.
However, I do have a back up fan, just in case.

It's Nebraska... if you don't like the weather, wait a bit... it will change... heat index over 100 has been replace with high temp forecast of 68 with low humidity today... we have had tornadoes & 3 inch hail & 70mph winds.. the extremes make our "average" look pleasant... of course it is College World Series time, so it will rain a lot and then turn into a desert when it's over... normal stuff around here... nothing you can change so make coffee or iced tea and enjoy the show

When I pulled out of Tulsa on Sunday morning it was already 84°,
and the humidity was at least the same. Both were too much for
this mountain boy.

This morning -- at home -- is was 37° at sunrise, and the air is as
dry as fresh toast. Much better. We're headin' for 63° today.

My sleeping fan hardly ever quits We get a breeze most every night and even when it's a 100 or over durng the day you will almost always need a blanket after midnight. Where are you in WVa Snubby? I used to hunt just north of Paw Paw quite a bit and my sister taught school out at Terra Alta. Father in law was originally from WVa too...but he was born in 1899.
