I carry a 1980s blue 36 chiefs special wearing some barami hip grips and a tyler t grip. Can carry with a bloused shirt and no one notices and it’s actually pretty fast on the draw.
For many years I would never trust a semiautomatic pistol no matter whose name was on it or how much it cost and I carried service grade S&W revolvers. Now times are "different" in many ways and I am quite content to carry my $298 Glock 17.
A good man has always know his limitations. I have seen people on the shooting ranges. Some are trying to shoot a handgun that they can not manage safely. Either too powerful or just a poor choice.
Of course the ones I don't see is the ones whose handgun stays in the nightstand or just puts it in his pocket.
S&W revolvers, they are what I am most comfortable with even if not optimal in the world of wonder 9's. I shoot revolvers well, feel confident with them, and trust them to do the job. I see no reason to mess with what works for me.
I use to carry S&W J frames or Colt Cobra's mostly and at time's my CZ compact.
But lately I carry my Ruger LCP Max with a ArmaLaser in my pocket every day morning till night.
