On the Fourth of July it would seem unpatriotic to shoot a caliber with "mm" in the name.

It's just got to be 45acp.

But do I shoot it out of my Turkish Tisas 1911 or one of my all American Smith and Wessons?

John?

Happy Independence Day, everyone!

Just think of "mm" as Marvelous <James> Madison.

He wrote the first draft of the Constitution and sponsored the Bill of Rights.

God bless our Country!

Things could be better, but we're still the greatest nation on Earth.

This is the very first Independence Day I have not celebrated! No range, no party, no neighborly BBQ - I am so saddened by current events here in our Country recently I am just not in a celebratory mood.

My Wife and I just threw a few home made Burgers on the grill, baked a few potatoes, made a tomato, onion and Gorgonzola cheese salad with Peter Luger's steak sauce and it was a very uneventful day.

Don't mean to be a "downer" here, it's just the way I feel today on America's Birthday. Tomorrow I am planning on a Range trip.
