S&W Model 10 .357 Magnum with elk stocks by bgmntmn
My 686+s are my favorites but this rare Model 10 in .357 Magnum ranks right up there and it's the only handgun I ever scored 250 out of 250 on the old Texas concealed handgun test. Every other gun, including a 6" M586, was a 246 or 248.
This revolver was the predecessor to the Model 13. 3000 were made, around 1200 for the NY State Police (SCSW page 206).
I figured I hadn't discussed it much in years except after my 2018 fire when I replaced the stocks.
