Fans of Hickok 45

Yep. I saw that the other day. Please don't let me get started stating my opinion or I'll get ejected.

After my recent post about my laptop and what data program I should use,I just downloaded google sheets tonight and set up a google email. I will be deleting that tomorrow as soon as I get home from work. By the way I’m perfectly happy with the Libre office that was suggested.

You Tube is slowly, but surely ridding itself of anything guns or weapon related. This has been on going for a while now. It's a matter of time before you see the rest being shown the door there.

Viewing this from a business perspective, when you alienate a customer base because of your corporate policies you lose that customer base and the money that goes with it. Something Google needs to seriously consider.

YouTube is dead to me...
BUT, how does one completely avoid all connection to Google?
Getting rid of them as a search engine in favor of DuckDuckGo or whatever is great - as far as it goes.
But if you have an Android phone you are still tied into Google, to some extent, like it or not.
What is the alternative? An Apple phone? Their anti-gun policies and practices are no better than Google's.
There really isn't another option that I am aware of.
If I'm wrong, PLEASE enlighten me. I'd be happy to be completely rid of Google AND Apple if there is a viable alternative....

This is nothing but gun control in a different form.

Gun Control is not about guns, its about CONTROL.

The anti's are patient, they are devious, they will NEVER give up, even if they achieve a total gun ban and confiscation they will not be satisfied.

Gun people are falling into their traps by using their vocabulary (gun violence, assault weapons, etc) and engaging in compromise with them.

Anti's NEVER compromise. They always get at least a part of what they want. Their idea of compromise is getting some of what they want. As soon as they get a part, they immediately start pushing for more.

Sad to hear this but cannot say I’m surprised. I’m sure they’ll end up moving to another platform at some point. I’ve been watching him since 2011 so I think is “hardcore” fans will always find access but unfortunately whatever other platform he ends up using won’t reach the same wide audience.

Youtube (Google) has been tightening the rules for gun channels every few months now for a very long time. I truly believe they will eventually ban all gun channels and gun content. It is now approaching ridiculousness and basically trying to eliminate all sponsorship that pays for or contributes to the gun you-tuber's operating expenses and profits. They want to force them off the air and make it not worth their time or effort to have a Youtube gun channel.

I suggested to Hickock45 (and other gun related channels I look at) years ago to get together and create their own "youtube" or media outlet that they can operate on rule free - or at least to the rules they make. I know some have tried unsuccessfully in a small way however they must now look into making that a reality - if they want to stay on the air. Left wing channels, organizations and the powers that be want to ban anything and everything gun related. It is happening - they had better wake up soon!

Channels like Hickok45, Demolition Ranch and a bunch of others are big enough and wealthy enough to put this together if they truly want to. Instead of whining and complaining, they need to act and get it done or they will be finding themselves making video's about cats and dogs. I don't believe they can't get this done if they really are committed for the long haul! Unfortunately guys like I mentioned above have become multi millionaires from their channels and even if they never made another penny from their gun channels, they will ride off into the sunset and live a very comfortable life - hence their hesitation to pony up the big bucks! They HAVE TO part with some Benjamins if they are to have a future in this type of venue. The new start up channels are cash poor so it would be up to the "big guns" to start the process, own the venue and rent time to others. that's the way I see it - the free ride is coming to an end.

Saw this yesterday on Hickok45's channel...

This is a sad and unfortunate state of current affairs.

'nuff said...

When you buy a new TV or attach a streaming device to your TV like Roku, there are certain apps available to you. There is no alternative to YouTube made available in this way on these devices. To watch Rumble on the computer screen is not what people want. They also do not want to figure our how to attach a computer to their TV.

UPDATE:
I see now how to add the Rumble App on Roku. It takes some looking but it is there. I found GunGuyTV there.

Update:
Today Hickock45 and his son say that they have talked to real humans at YouTube who have taught them how they can come in compliance with the new terms. It will involve some work as videos which have been taken down will be reworked and reposted but all should work out.
