He called me a while ago. Said he had a tickle in his throat early last night and things went downhill fast after that. His wife Ruthy made him go to the hospital around 0300.
From what he said the rib issue was due to violent coughing. He texted me around 1800 and said they just found a lesion on his pancreas too.
Well that sucks all to hell. He’s always the first to wish Happy Birthday to other members, obviously very smart and quick witted, has a meme for almost everything, a musical know it all, in a good way, and an all around great guy. Broken ribs? I second the “good drugs” statement. Rusty brightens up my day with some great comments. I’ll have my next beer in your honor, Rusty, if you’re listening/reading this thread. It’s Bud Light, not Coors, but, you know, I’m from Pittsburgh, so….

New update... They also diagnosed him with Interstitial Lung Disease. It makes your lungs fibrous. He said the hits keep coming.
