So I picked up a 21-4 off GB a couple weeks ago, and I'm wondering if the gold lettering besides the Thunder Ranch is aftermarket since I don't see any others online with it. Any help is appreciated. apologies for orientation of pictures

Thanks, I am inquiring about the gold lettering on the barrel not the emblem,

Previous owner gold filled the lettering. This one does not have it.

If you don't like the "gold" lettering and logos, they can be easily removed with some acetone and a q-tip. The lettering on the barrel was probably filled in by a previous owner with a Forster's Bonanza Gold Inlay Kit (from Brownell's, $22). It's actually bronze powder, and the kit is very easy to use. I refilled the gold lettering and logos on my 1973 Model 19-3 Texas Ranger Commemorative revolver with excellent results.

I saw a 21-4 4" Nickel for $900 day before yesterday. What are the going prices? (No bo or papers, looked very fine otherwise.)
