Ruger Security Six

Maybe I'm too much of a purist, but a 4" .357 like the Ruger "Sixes" is something we all should own. The late gunwriter/aficionado George Nonte who wrote for all of the gunzines mentioned how his 4" Security-Six was stolen from his boat in the Caribbean many years ago. He hoped that it would end up in right hands and that it would serve its new owner as well as it had Nonte.

P.S. OP, check out my post on your other Ruger thread.

People hate them, and you'll get laughed at on the range. When that happens, call me and I'll take it off your hands to save you further humiliation...

Picked up another Security Six yesterday. $425 OTD. It will go to an acquaintance, sans the target grips. Those will go on my Security Six.

The only Ruger DA that I own is a GP100 in 44 Special, 3 inch barrel. It was a great shoot all up until the barrel split at the forcing cone. It’ll be interesting how they’ll handle that.
