Sorry...but this may take a little time. Amazon is just an Enabler Site. I gotta stop looking....and buying on the place. Bought a heck of a nice Schumacker Battery charger...Put it in my CART as they call it...Went back 3 days later...They lowered the price from 190 dollars to 168. Almost bought the darn thing but got distracted by some people coming up wanting to buy my ranch...They were from Washington State. Next day I went back and they had lowered the price to 141. So I decided to buy it ...when I'm checking out there was a bonus 5%...so I used that to get a 3 year extended warranty. Wife has bought stuff on there too...but she's not as cheap as me. Now I just bought a Pit Boss Pellet Grill on the darn place...they enabled me again. I had put it in my CART during Black Friday...down from over 400 to 247. ...went to order...OOS. oh Well...mommas told me I don't need any grills cause I've sacrificed enough to the gods. The darn thing was still in my CART when I went back yesterday...Price was 270. bucks but in stock. Went to buy it and a little pop up came on my screen that said I could apply my Microsoft savings of 52 dollars and eleven cents...say what?? What Microsoft Savings?...so I clicked the button and sure 'nuff the price went down. So I went ahead and ordered it. Went to Albertsons yesterday...They had Rib Roast on sale for under 6 dollars a pound..so I bought 80 dollars worth to sacrifice...that d**m Amazon. Even when it's cheap...it ain't. Momma still don't know, though:D:rolleyes:

Amazon is not your friend. Read that again. Bezos is playing the American public. He has everything you want, and will get it to you quick. The American way, instant gratification. Get past that, and the the prices will drop.

As Rod Serling used to say, " Imagine if you will. " the power that the people have over Amazon. What if there was unity among buyers, and they could strike purchasing from Amazon. It is a beautiful thought. It would work for everything. Cars too

Amazon just built a $60,000,000.00 Distribution Center a few towns from me. I don't think a protest, bycott will work. Just sayin.

I understand Amazon is really not your friend. But think of this. My sister down in Texas orders much of her groceries from the local stores and shazam..they get delivered. My daughter in Delaware orders her groceries from Wally World and 2 hours later she drives by and they load 'em into her car. She calls it drive by shopping....BTW she has 5 boys a 15 yr old daughter and a husband... Large grocery orders! I even make an order for the large heavy things at Sam's Club...set up a time for pickup...get there they load all that heavy stuff into the car. Heck...I was at the local Farm store yesterday...got chikin feed corn and some sweet feed for the little birdies(it's winter)...and they load it up for us old folks...Marketing!

Other than weekly food and groceries, shopping doesn't get any better for me. I buy a huge amount of "stuff" from Amazon. Bezos has created an incredible consumer service for the Prime membership. I don't agree with all of his politics or other philosophies, but he is the top gun for customer service. During the scamdemic Amazon was an amazing source.

OH...and I have a Prime Credit card...Purchases build points. If I use that credit card I can pay for the pellet stove at 16.66 per month no interest...I used some points I have accumulated on Amazon to reduce final price to 200 dollars delivered...but I still don't know Where the Microsoft discount came from.

I have had Prime for 3 years. There have been a couple of hic-ups, but every thing was resolved. Sam's Club and Walmart+ just a couple problems. To me it beats have to get out of the PJ's., and wait in line with knuckle heads.

I've used Amazon prime for years - It more than pays for itself in many ways. I have found some items are a little cheaper, some a little more than other place. No, Amazon is not your "friend". Any business whose business plan doesn't put profit front and center is doomed to fail.

I kind of look at Amazon as a modern, on-line version of the old analog Sears - Anything you can think of available, delivered to your door. Sears, you browsed a 1000 page printed catalog. Amazon a website.

Amazon treats their warehouse employees like garbage. That alone ensures me I'll NEVER use them for anything.

Bezos' antics in the 2020 election & how he LIED about it means that I wish famine & pestilence upon them.

Amazon is also strongly anti-gun.

So, congrats to all you gun owners for supporting one of THE most anti-gun companies known in America. :(

The biggest problem with Amazon is when you return something there is likely an old person that still doesn't realize how returns work and holds up the line. Most people have their return QR code pulled up on their phone, set their product on the counter, get their code scanned and walk out, about a 18 second process. If I'm returning many items I will re-email them to myself so they are at the top of my inbox and easily scanned. Just the other day I got behind an old lady who was returning three items and she just kept scanning over and over through hundred of her emails and still couldn't find the return QR code.

LV Steve...I would like to give you about 4 likes on.... in trouble...And I too spend the 10 pr 12 bucks a month for Kindle. I read 20 or more books a month. If start one that sucks I just delete it..well worth the cost as is prime. I can watch movies that interest me. As far a the anti gun thing I'm with Rusty. There are too many places you may have to buy from that support an agenda I don't agree with. I don't like all the Chinese crapo that you may get from any business. Try getting some things that aren't made there. Bobsguns...did you ever sell a Chinese SKS or any comblock made firearm?? Not dissing you or anyone here..just being realistic...somethings are impossible to get away from...Amazon seems to be one of them. I grew up in an anti Japanese society...And they make some very good guns...and they are Anti gun

BTW...anyone have a pellet grill...what's the best wood type pellet fuel for Beef?? I've always wanted to try cooking a beef brisket on a grill. Don't want to sacrifice it to the gods. What is a good marinade to make meat a bit more tender?? this is All Natural Grass Fed Organic Montana/Wyoming Beef Country...that boiled down means TOUGH

Skeet, I have never cooked one on a pellet grill. I do like low heat 190 F for about 6 hours for a 1/2 or 1/3 brisket. I will smoke it for an hour or two then wrap in foil and cook for 6 hours. I finish it by wrapping it in old towels and putting it in a cooler for 2-3 hours. That lets is slow cook, absorb juices and stay warm enough. When I pull it out to slice it, it's still to warm to leave your hand on for more than a few seconds.
