I grew up in a family where the bar was set pretty low and mediocrity was praised and rewarded. My first semester in college I made a 2.0 GPA and my parents were so proud they bought me a color tv!

Life was good!

Ya know, I renewed my donation this morning. I should have known good things were going to happen! A good friend found something that I had been looking for so I got that. My pre-operation test suggested I may have A Fib, but the Cardio folks said it's nothing. Now this evening I see our resident Louisiana Attorney has come through with a gem that keeps Mr. Blutarsky at a perfect 0.00 score; top o' the class!
People sometimes ask, "if you had a chance to have a few beers with someone living or dead" I think I know who to pick, as long as the meter isn't running.

My usual group at the club informed me that I would not be receiving the Perfect Attendance Award for 2024. Now I have a good goal for 2025.

I will try to stay off the tardy list for happy hour also. That throws off my afternoon nap time and can wreck the dinner schedule.
