Smith & Wesson forged the heads for the golf irons and Snake Eyes made the club assemblies to S&W specs. S&W also forged club heads for Snake Eyes and other golf club manufactures.
(That was my display at Tulsa.)
Thank you for sharing Tom!
Good information above.
The President of S&W Golf was Ernie Vadersen. Ernie was the inventor of the Snake Eyes wedges, which were very popular to golf pros early on.
When I posted pictures of some S&W woods that I bought from S&W and sold some to forum members, it was a surprise when Ernie reached out and said he would send letters to those individuals that bought some of the clubs.
Ernie also had three special Performance Center firearms, and he sold me one which is a a one of a kind M627 with an 8" barrel, see the pic below, it's the top revolver.
I owned that revolver for some time but sold it when I was thinning the herd, another member has it now (he will probably see this and maybe chime in).
I also got a few Smith & Wesson tournament golf bags from Ernie in my collection for a few years.
Unfortunately Ernie passed away a few years back. Will miss him, he was a true gentleman.
Could not find my S&W Belt Buckle.
Did find a shoe horn I misplaced back in 2004!
Back in the day, I had a bunch of the Smith Knives.
Sold-traded down to the one I liked the Best!
Smith and Wesson Holsters. One for J Frame 4" (use for my Model 63) and one for K Frame 4" (use for my Model 10 and Model 15). High quality vintage leather.
Then I thought, "Do I have anything else?" - and it came to me! I had some fun taking these pictures - just now - of this electronic S&W belt watch. I haven't used it in years!
