If things get bad and things get worse this is my plan. Please comment on my weapons and tell us yours

For some reason I'm reminded of this exchange between radio host Rock'n'Roll Doctor and a rather impaired caller from the Dr Demento show (had to transcribe from youtube)

Dr: You have a question, sir?
Caller: Yeah, I'm goin' to the Nugent concert...
Dr: Kinda figured...
Caller: And I'm takin' some pot, and uh, some, uh, uh, acid, and I'm gonna be takin' some coke, and I'm gonna be takin' a couple of quarts of rum, I was wonderin' if there's anything else that I should take.
Dr: Yeah, an ambulance...

Unless you think you can get 9 people and 24 guns in the same vehicle (seriously overloaded), you either need to find a safe space (hidden vault?) for most of the weapons, and issue one pistol and one rifle for each adult. That and all the loaded mags they can carry. In your safe space, at least 5-10 cases of each kind of ammo you need.

Wheelbarrow? Explain me
It's a historical reference to an internet troll from the previous century....there was a "survivalist" that went by the name of Gunkid who had a plan that involved an armored tactical wheelbarrow, which was an upgrade from his tactical shopping cart. He was banned from just about every internet forum.

My genuine advice to you would be to spend much more time thinking about clean water and a source of food. Your list sounds adequate as a starting place for defense, but that is a last resort.

Drink, eat, sleep, run, fight. Plan for all of those in that order.

If you put it that way I'll replace the guns with packs of pasta, cans of tomatoes, kilos of parmesan, sausages and guanciale and buy a 77 inch OLED and stop writing my apocalyptic posts on the forum. I'll get back to cooking, I'm a much better cook than I am post-apocalypse escape planner
I thought you would answer so, no take the Mini 14 instead of the Steyr or not the Glocks but the Sigs, in short you took it too seriously you didn't get into the game someone did.
For fun or for real, a list of the best armament to be foreseen, transportable, to be distributed to the heterogeneous group and relative ammunition is in any case interesting to know.
A 22 with scope and suppressor is a great idea, it miss in my list.
We always have time to draw up the perfect list for an apocalypse with a family to support...
Without prejudice to the fact that after a few battles you go home and everything goes back to how it was before, like the John Milius movie Red Down.
After this post we can choosing another classic fighting to watch on the new 77" OLED. To then think about a new post to write in this exceptional forum.

Sorry, this new forum setup is bringing out my weirdness lol.i think your list is pretty thorough and has a lot of thought behind it. Pray we won't need to utilize our preparedness soon. Please keep posting!

I have a 10/22, a .38, and a tactical wheelbarrow. That’s all I need according to my internet research.
If you are going to use a tactical wheelbarrow, you need to have an illegally converted AR-15 along with a 22 conversion kit.

If you are going to channel gun kid, do it correctly.

I'm a little puzzled by your math.

You got nine people - four men, five women.

You got four 44 Magnums. I guess those are for the manly men. You got 5 38 specials. I suppose those are for the wimpy women. And that part actually makes sense.

But you got eight glocks, and eight tactical vests. For nine people. That's where you lost me. Who gets left out? Or is one of the grandchildren too young to be trusted with tactical Tupperware, but is okay with a revolver?

sorry my mistake 9 Glock and 9 vests

If we have an "end of life as we know it" event, I personally hope Italy is spared. You guys have the best wine and cooks on the planet and Italy is one of my most favorite places. Have you been to Urbino? The architecture there is awesome.

As far as your weapon selection, what is the Beretta version of an AR? I would have several of those.

Much is made of heading for the hills if the SHTF. In my neck of the woods, the hills are covered with about six feet of snow for quite a bit of the time. I plan to stay home in my nice comfy house, with every firearm I own and access to everything that’s left after the event.

Enneframe - I think you should add 22LR ammo, pistol and rifle to your arsenal.
How's the water supply at your retreat? Are you thinking of holding out a few days or weeks until the rioting stops, or The End Of The World As We Know It (TEOTWAWKI) scenario?
