I don't live far away so I went to the gun show at the York, PA fairgrounds today. The parking is free, the entry fee is $10.00 and there are a lot of tables with a pretty high percentage being firearms related. I've gone to this gun show a lot in the past. From what I could see, the prices for ammunition seem to have come down from the stratosphere. For components I can't opine on the prices. My views are too clouded by days of primers being $20 a brick. There looked to be a very good supply of firearms available. The prices will have to be whatever it's worth to you as I am pretty much out of the acquisition phase. But from the 4 state area (PA, MD, WV and VA) it's not a bad drive so it might be worth your while to stop in tomorrow.

I haven't been to a gun show in years. There wasn't anything I needed to buy. But now that I'm searching for a specific model I have to start going again. They don't have them in the the Dome Arena or what ever it's called now in Rochester. There are two coming up in September:
The Hamburg Fairgrounds and the big one at the NY St. Fairgrounds in Syracuse. I've never been to either one before. Has any one here ever gone to one or the other? If so, were they worth it? I'm not paying for parking because I'll park far away. I don't mind walking at all.
The few gun shops in the area here are sadly lacking in any kind of firearm selection especially in the revolver department.

I’ve been to both
Parking is free at Hamburg gun show
Decent amount of tables
Usual plastic crap and lots of old military stuff
I’ve gotten some good deals over the years
it is hit or miss for older S&W revolvers
last show had a nice array
the one before not so much
Highly recommend Pegasus family restaurant nearby for a good breakfast or lunch

Syracuse I’ve been to once
I don’t believe I paid for parking
twice the size of Hamburg in terms of tables
I did well for parts there like grips and holsters
My buddy got a great deal on an old Marlin rifle

I plan on going to both
Hamburg is 6-7 of September
Syracuse 13-14 of September

I used to go to the Chantilly Va show but haven't been there in quite some time, probably a decade. Same situation as far as buying, still stocking up on ammo but not at retail prices. 45 auto 35 cents a round, 38 special and 380 auto at 20 cents a round for factory made at a local garage sale. .22 at 4 cents a round. Still have 100 rounds of 44 MAG my brother made before he died, I'll save that for last. He passed Oct 14th 2022.

Thank very much Grimjaws!!!! Since you're going to both you must live in the area somewhat I would imagine.

I'll be going to the Hamburg show on Saturday the 6th because football starts on the 7th and also I have to be back home by 4pm, chicken BBQ to go too. Does that work for you?
