Are there any gunsmiths that work on Hand Eject revolvers?

Hi. I got a pretty nice condition model 1905 38 special revolver in a trade. Unfortunately someone at some point monkeyed with it and the result is a very smooth & light DA trigger but a way too light SA trigger. Are there any good gunsmiths that could fix it?

I'm not a gunsmith, but I play one on TV. I bought two 38 M&P 4th change revolvers. One was really hard to cock in
single action. Took it apart and found the main spring was a Bubba home made special. Bought a used one on Ebay,
replaced it and it worked beautifully.

I traded for a second 38 M&P 4th target locally, and upon taking it apart to clean and lube I noticed the rebound slide spring was
cut shorter. It fell out of the rebound slide when I took the side plate off. I ordered a used one off of Ebay. I also noticed the
hand wasn't installed correctly in the trigger. A fellow Forum member helped me figure it out and the gun works flawlessly.

So, post some pics if you can of the innards, and there are great Forum members here that can help you out. Also, there are
YouTube videos on how to disassemble a S&W revolver and put it back. Works for me.

Not sure where you live in Virginia, but if it turns out that you actually need a gunsmith I recommend Sandy Garrett in Springfield, Virginia, telephone (703) 644-6504, email [email protected]. I have used him many times always with excellent results.

Problem with these guns is finding parts. I fixed one that had a broken cylinder bolt. Only the correct part will work and it took a few months to find one.
