IMG_5687.webpSo I have been flying the flag off the front of my house for years so this week I decided it would be a fun project to install an actual flag pole. My biggest concern was keeping it plumb. I did find this handy pole/pipe level which worked great. Last thing I want is for it to be leaning.

Turned out pretty good if do say so myself.

Looks very nice! How tall is it? I have been thinking about adding one at my house. Where did you get the flag pole from? Would you recommend it?

Thank you, Tim

It is 20 ft. tall and a 2" aluminum tube. I bought the pole (which can with a new flag) from a local store that specializes in flags, named appropriately The Flag Store. I do like to patronize small local businesses when I can. $200 buck for the pole and flag.

I also learned this. The flag pole knot.
