An interesting meeting with the animals

Years ago I got Ditrina to try to buy a stuffed Penguin for me at an auction.. My max was around $300. To our surprise the auction blew past that almost immediately. I think te gavel went down a little nort of $3,000. I have one stuffed animal. My son's first duck-a nice male widgeon. I shoot tem to eat not to stuff.

We had a bed delivered years ago. One of the delivery men noticed this bufflehead over our bedroom door and asked: Is that a penguin?



I waned to say: Yes it is; I shot it at the North Pole!

Pretty full plumage Bufflehead-We rarely get them down where I hunt. Shot a Ruddy Duck once by mistake-friend got it mounted but that's about as far as my exotics go.
