I recently picked up one of the new M&P 15-22 pistols after waiting several years for S&W to re-introduce it, and just picked up a compact case that's pretty nice for guns of this size, while not loudly proclaiming "GUN!" to everyone who sees it. I thought I'd share a review, since I hadn't seen the brand before I started looking last week.
The brand is 'Savior', and is sold on eBay and Amazon. It's imported (isn't everything?), but the material is heavy duty, and all of the stitching and construction appears to be of excellent quality. Zippers are heavy duty plastic. External pockets have compression cords, velcro flaps and fastex type buckles for additional security. The case I bought is a 24", which is perfect for the M&P 15-22 pistol, but it's also available in 28" and 32" sizes. It's also available in a couple of different colors.
EDIT: the case does include a shoulder strap, though I didn't take a pic.
It's designed as a double case, with two compartments separated by a foam divider covered in heavy cordura. The 24" fits both the 15-22 and (barely) my Krink pistol with the brace folded. There's plenty of room for optics.
It also fits my takedown 10-22.
The center divider is removeable, and I will probably use it in this mode with just my 15-22.
The outer external pockets are divided for two mags, and fit all of my AR/AK 30 rounders.
The 24" case is too short for my 11" .300Blk pistol, but the 28" would be perfect, so I may need to order another one of these.
All in all, I'm pretty pleased with the purchase, and think it will do exactly what I wanted it to do. Hope the info is useful to someone.
