I bought this holster off the forum from marcruger. Its construction and style screams George Lawrence, but it’s marked Johnnie Walker, Boston. No information found for a holster maker/ saddler named Johnnie Walker.
So I went down a different path looking for retailers by that name and found Johnnie Walkers Western in Boston, MA. Apparently founded in 1932 and operated into the 1970s.
So did GL produce holsters and gear for other retailers stamped for them with no GL mark?
Any of you east coast folks remember Walker’s?

Lee is right, of course- that was made by A.E. Nelson of Salem, Oregon. Here’s a hasty cell phone photo of their model 97 Mexican style holster, note that only one loop was used for guns with barrels less than 5”. They were one of the few companies that made items for Abercrombie & Fitch, I think for just their San Francisco store. They made holsters for a wide range of sporting goods and gun shops, mostly on the West Coast. The company is still in business in Scio, OR. making law enforcement leather.
