I have read the threads on refinishing the inserts for the presentation boxes and currently all is going well with the top part.
The next step is to progress to the bottom half which holds the gun. This piece has some cracks and some holes which is pretty common for these old items.
My question is what is the best way to patch the inserts before refinishing? Simply use duct tap or glue or some epoxy of sorts?
