Default Author Robert B. Parker Is Dead

Just heard on the news that mystery author Robert B. Parker died today.

I've probaby read all of his Spenser novels, and those about his other characters, Sunny Randall and Jessie Stone, who has been played in TV movies by Tom Selleck. The late Robert Urich played Spenser on TV.

Parker was 77 and apparently died at his desk, writing, of a heart attack.

Did anyone else read his books?

My guess is that Jack Higgins will be the next adventure author to leave us. He can't be far from Parker's age.
