I'm preparing a gift package for an upcoming birthday. I want to include a usb flash drive that has links to resource websites such as cleaning videos, holster makers, handgunlaw, etc.

I have created folders on the flash drive for the various subjects but I can't figure out how to put hotlinks in the folders? I copy the website url but it won't past into the flash drive folder.

I'm trying to stay away from having to put all the links in a word (or other document) document if possible. Would like it so that the user can just click on the link in the directory and have it take them to the website.

Thanks

Once you save the site to favorites, open the favorites folder in documents, drag the icon to the flash drive.

If you're using IE, right click while viewing the webpage in question and click on "create shortcut" and click yes when it says it will place it on the desktop.

Then copy/cut that to the USB drive.

If you use Frefox it is somewhat different.
