I am not shocked or surprised, we have a rather unpleasant history when it comes to playoff hockey. Great during the year and down the tubes during the playoffs. They definitely have to stay out of the penalty box, don't give the Habs too many opportunities because they will take them.

The Jacob Bros., so we lost tonight, but how many hot dogs did we sell?

Thumbs up GO BOLTS!

Lightning has to go home with a win tonight.
I'm working again tonight so I'll have to sneak a peek at the box scores, but I'm off next week and the Ice Palace will be rocking Monday and Wednesday.

How can they play such inspired hockey and then just fall apart with the same players? They did this all year. They are all healthy and should be at least as rested as any other team in the playoffs if not more so. They have all the components to go all the way. Maybe game one was a fluke but it just happens too much.

What's the deal with Chara? I am reading that he was in the hospital. Will tonight be the last game in Boston for the year? I'm not feeling too good about this series.

[QUOTE=alde;135918330]What's the deal with Chara? I am reading that he was in the hospital. Will tonight be the last game in Boston for the year? I'm not feeling too good about this series.

According to the sports writers in Boston, he is dehydrated. So I guess they will fill him up with liquids and he should be able to play. Sort of like filling up a tea kettle so it will whistle.

I admit I cheer them on but they just don't get playoff hockey.

GO RANGERS Made you smile again.

I'll be, Strato your back once again, looks like a cake walk for the wings in round one. I'm watching the game as I post this. Getting ready for game 2 up here in Boston at 7 PM. I may have to throw down at least 4 double Wild Turkey's around 6:30 PM

Last year you suggested Sam Adams. I have some ready for tonights game. I hope I don't need anything stronger.

Bull, your not baiting me again with that being quiet statement.

Today's Detroit game had a somewhat exciting end, didn't it?

I always have such high hopes at this time of year only to have them dashed against the rocks. I hope that Wild Turkey helped dull the pain. The Sam Adams didn't do a thing.

On a positive note, I got a nice bunch of full moon clips in the mail today for my new to me 625-3.

Don't pull the clubs out yet. There are no safe leads in hockey, besides I forgot to water the course

How about those Rangers? That was a great finish. If a team can come back from 2 down and make it a series it's the Rangers. I think the Bruins are toast.

At first I didn't know what you were talking about, was away all day at 3 year old Grace's birthday party.

So the Rangers came up with a win, being a 8th seed team that is just great. To be truthful, I've always liked the Rangers.

Now tomorrow night should be interesting, really interesting.

I hope everyone knows that Strato is the person that welcomes all the losers at the Bay Hill country club.

You definitely have a point there, do something to speed up the process, it just takes too long to get to the finals.

Too many "play off games".
Best of three, best of five, and then best of seven. But these are just my opinions.

I don't think I would support less hockey. It hardly gets any airplay as is.

More maddening is when television stations opt to show preseason baseball/basketball instead of ACTUAL regular season NHL games.

The Bruins are not saying if Chara is going to play or not. If he has had that flu bug that some of my co-workers have had he may be down for a while. It looks nasty. If he's sick he will only be detriment to the team. They don't need a 6'-9" slug at this point.

That said, the Bruins just don't seem to have the drive. If they get a couple of lucky bounces to go thier way it may give them a spark, but I have never been one to belive in luck. Let's see if they come to play tonight.

Fingers crossed, hoping the Bruins stay out of the penalty box tonight, score some goals and maybe pull out a win.

Looks like the big man is gonna play tonight. The article said that he practiced hard and was smiling and joking. Maybe he will put the team in a positive mood and give them a lift. I hope my Sam Adams is good and cold.

Talk about a great hockey fan, you the man.

When you take that nap, still wearing your Red Wing pajamas, with the feet and trap door?

Hurry up, head for the TV, they are about to drop the puck.

I would love to see the Black Hawks do to Detroit what the Flyers did to the Bruins last year. The only team I dislike more than the Red Wings is the Canadians. Well, not really. I just really dislike (hate) the Canadians. The Red Wings are ok but they are just so good sometimes that it frustrates me. They just win too much.

The Hawks gave up some key players after winning the cup because of payroll, didn't they? So it really is a new team out there, for what it is worth, I'll be cheering them on.

Plus those Canucks have a pretty well balanced team, the Hawks just can't go down in four. Bring back Moose Vasko.

OOPs, that's right. The Hawks are playing the Canucks right now. I live out west but have not really followed the western teams. Go Hawks

You and I are about the same age, so I understand. Too many Sam Adams maybe?

I turn 50 in June. I don't think I can blame age yet. I do love that Sam Adams while watching a great hockey game. Are the Rangers playing tonight? Is it ok to drink SA while watching the Rangers?

The Rangers I believe are tomorrow night, would I love to see them knock out the Caps.

I apologize about the age comment, so it must be the Sam Adams, I have you by 15 years, turn 65 this month, ouch.

Sam Adams does not favor any NHL team, so whatever game you are watching it is permissible to drink that beverage.

I better stock up then. June is a ways off.

Last night’s Bruins game was interesting in that the Canadians played very well. At least as well as they played in the first two games. The Bruins however really elevated their game. Why can't they just be consistent? Are they that emotionally fragile?
