These elk bone grips just arrived from Patrick Grashorn. They are absolutely gorgous and not fat. They are about the same thickness as the factory woods. I'll have to open up two screwholes just a little bit on the left side. I couldn't be more pleased with these. My wife doesn't like this pistol because it's one of those "flat" guns. She likes my sixguns better.

Ive bought several stags from Patrick and his work is top notch and second to none. A great guy!
 
Those grips really set that gun apart. I think medallions might be the only way to improve on that.

I foolishly let my as-new nickel 39-2 get away a few years ago. Little did I know . . . . :(
 
I have bought a few of Patrick's grips from him, all are top notch and they look gorgeous.

Just Beautiful... Just when I find the perfect nickel 39.. I find that I just bought something silly, like another "N" frame..... Someday.. Someday..
