Today, 15 July, 2013 marks 24 years and 55 days since I got married, including leap years. That, by my calculations, is exactly half of my life. (I am into minutia like that).:D

The Lovely Missus P&R Fan, who is almost 5 years older than me, says it has been the happiest 3 years of her life. I disagree, it's been the happiest 3 1/2 years of mine.;)

What the heck, we're both still hangin' in there.

I was married a total of 4 yrs but we were
together 10. Taken as a whole those were
the happiest and least stressed years of my
life. You are blessed. Marriage is the greatest
institution out there.

Married half my life, was a long time ago. In a few years I'll make to 2/3 my life. But I'd have to be 88 for 3/4 and I don't see that happening without some major medical breakthroughs, but I'm very happy for any time with her. Congratulations to both of you for putting up with each other. Ivan

We have been married 34 years, and I am 62...so, more than half my life. (Half would have been 68.) I hope we make it to 75 years, like her grandparents did, but then I'd be 103! I'm probably not going to make that....but my dad is 92 and still in great shape, in fact better shape than I am. HE watches what he eats, still exercises everyday, and isn't fat. I watch what I eat too...from the plate to the gums, look out stomach here it comes! :p

Got married at 19 and have had the same gal for 45 years in Aug. Too old to train a new one so I guess I will just keep this'n.

You young pups?? I'll be married for 40 years soon. I hope to draw the pension soon too. It's been an awesome 40 years. Life is what you make of it. I been lucky I found the right one right off. I have an angel. Once she
learned how to cook I had to keep her.(kidding) But she gave me three
awesome children too. She never stops me with my hobbies too.
She is smarter than I am too. When I went to sell my reloading equipment
about 20 years ago she said to keep it you may get back into it. How
did she know that? She has to be an angel because she put up with my
Mom too. She took care of my mom till she passed away. Life goes by so fast.

I've been married over half my life, 36 years,.........course it has been 3 different women.

I've contemplated this before!

My Wife was 21 on the day we married. We have been married for 35 years. I was 27. So how long would it take to be married to her for all of my life. Looks like you might just make it Ivan. Toggles the mind. I thank the Lord for her every night in prayer.
Peace,
Gordon

7 years with the first one but I did learn a good lesson in finance. I remember complaining about the cost of the wedding until I suffered through the cost of divorce.

36 years with the second gal. Remembering my lesson in finance, we got married by a judge who was a personal friend. So far, no divorce.
