Is that the one with the 300# bubbas running around in a cornfield? I think they were all on previous episodes of moonshiners! Or at least regular customers.

I'm open to the possibility of the existence of a very large, unknown primate in remote areas. The odds are against it, but it's possible. But these shows are invariably hokey, phony crud on the level of the "Ghost Adventures" stuff.

Some of them seem deliberately framed to project a stereotype of dumb redneck oafs, so people can feel superior watching them. (By the way, Ernie Brown, the "turtle man" of "Call Of The Wild Man" is a millionaire businessman who bears little if any resemblance to his goofy TV persona, according to people who know him.)

The pseudo-scientific versions are just as stupid.

Default I get enough of those.....

I get enough of those really fast. And the channels are FULL of them.

I avoid most UFO shows but we saw one called 'The History of UFOs' and it was informative and objective, not trying to convince anybody of anything, just tells the history.

I usually like most Discovery Channel shows but I just can't find a reason to watch that one.

I watch it on occasions to help raise my self esteem.
I'm also waiting for one them to shoot another in the dark, or else have a terrible trapping accident.

I like the one where they trap the "Devil Dogs" and then never tell you what they were (feral dogs, hybrids, what?) It ended with calling Animal Control!

"Mountain Monsters" is one of my all time favorite shows. The first time I watched it I felt like most of you, what a crock! But once I understood it was the same as WWE I came to look forward to it. No, no one over 8 or 10 takes it serious. (your not supposed to)

The "Devil Dog" show BearBio mentioned was a classic. The "fearless hunters" were totally surprised when they actually found something in their trap.

Flank 'em Buck flank 'em! We need backup!!!

Well I'll have you to know..
I saw the wampus cat several years ago in Fannin County, Georgia!

It was late afternoon when Clyde filled the last jar. We had been passing one around just to make sure it was good.

Just before dark, I saw one while looking thru the bottom of a quart Mason Jar!

They must be kind of friendly.. all I had when I woke up the next morning was a mysterious giant headache!

The storyline is outlandish but what really turned me off was their HORRIBLE weapons handling. I hope them scatterguns aren't loaded.

I hadn't heard of this show, so I watched the trailer. Igads. What a mess.

I am overall a total skeptic, and I don't believe there is a bigfoot. That said, if you do go up to the Pacific Northwest and hike into some of these areas - it is so overgrown, dense, and uninhabited by man that after an arduous journey only one mile in, you are already nearly overwhelmed by the terrain and your remoteness. And then when you think about how this forest may stretch out hundreds of square miles... well, you start to see in very practical terms how arrogant of us it would be to claim we are absolutely sure there are no sasquatch living in there. We would have no way of knowing.

That said, this show looks like a joke.

I saw a 'Squatch' on another channel.

I think the name of the show was: "Here Comes Honey Boo-Boo".

And it's name is June or Joon.

There is too! I saw him of the Jack Links commercials. They can't make stuff up on commercials, you know.

Default Please

I 'm a certified Sasquatch, and I'm asking you to please refrain from hunting for me. Open carry is legal in my part of the mountains-and I have opposable thumbs-so I am capable of using my firearms- P.S. I just acquired a new SW M&P.

If they ever found what they were looking for then the show would be over along with all the advertising revenue and related income.
