Clothing Survey

Well, once upon a time when I was still drinkin' heavy, I went to a tattoo parlor to get a butterfly on my ,well you know. The artist said I'd be better off with a mosquito or a gnat! Made me so darn mad I had him do "made in the USA" now I never forget where I come from! Nick

Seems like an excellent place to mention a Jean company that I try to support. Diamond Gusset Jeans. They are more expensive but damn nice set of jeans. Also for those that don't realize we still have an American nail Company. Maze Nail Company. When I reroofed the house they cost a little more but it's American.

There is a new Fallas discount clothing store that just opened here last week. Stopped by to take a look and they had Levis for $21.00. Checked the tag and it said "Made in Vietnam"! Last pair I bought said "Made in Mexico" and I thought that that was bad enough, but Vietnam??!! Walked out without buying anything.

Real Indian mocs

Old Navy thermal shirt made in India, under that's a t shirt made in looks like Nicaragua (tags faded). Sweat pants made in Lesotho.
Now I know my moccasins were made in America by an American Native 'cause I made 'em.

Are you sure? Have you checked with "Princess Wanabee" of the "neverwas" tribe?

Funny, the TRU-SPEC shirt I'm wearing is made in the USA, their 24-7 shorts aren't.

AA Carpenters

Interesting I should come across this thread today.

My jeans are US-made.
AA Carpenter Jeans Made in USA: All American Clothing Co

When the weather turns cool enough for long-johns, I really like the "carpenter" model. Roomy enough for the long johns, and lot of extra pockets for spare mags, and knives.

I looked at the link and found the Carpenters jeans I've been hunting for a while. I really like Diamond Gusset CO, but I'm not rich enough to afford those. LOL...Thanks for the info W.E.G.! I got my jeans Thursday 1/29/15. They fit perfectly, but the dark blue pair seem to be a tad shorter, but thats ok. I will shrink into the length. :)
