Who's Your Favorite Television Character of Characters?

A few more......

Futurama - Bender (drunk robot....funny as heck)

The Addam's Family - Uncle Fester

Beverly Hillbillies - I think Granny was the funniest

Mission Impossible - Rollin Hand

character of the gang.

Dark Shadows - Barnabas

Gomer Pyle - Sergeant Carter (kept me in stitches)

The Honeymooners - Ed Norton

Man from U.N.C.L.E. - Illya Kuryakin

Bewitched - The funniest (besides the adorable E. M.) was Uncle Arthur and Aunt Clara

The Avengers - Is it ok if I take Emma Peel over John Steed

Green Acres - I can't decide who was the funniest on that show. I usually had tears in my eyes while watching it.

The Monkees - It seems I got the biggest laughs from Mickey D.

F Troop - Corporal Agarn (I seriously believe that Larry Storch is nuts)

The Munsters - Tie between Herman and Grandpa

Here's Lucy - Mr. Mooney

Kung Fu - Kwai Chang Caine and Master Po

All in the Family - George Jefferson

The Flintstones - Barney Rubble

Hogan's Heroes - Ok, Schultz is great but Klink followed by Berkhalter kept me cracked up (SHAT UP, KLINK)

Mary Tyler Moore - Ted, the Anchorman and Lou Grant

One Day At A Time - Dwayne Schneider

I Claudius - Augustus

Characters in Anthology Series - Too many great shows and characters but..

Ernie Andersen

Jackie Gleason as Ralph Kramden,I can identify with Him,He was a regular Joe that always wanted to get ahead and in the end always found He was richer than most because of His Family and Friends.

Anyone that grew up in Cleveland in the 60's new who Goulardi was,He hosted some really bad Horror movies on Friday Night.
He was so popular that the Cleveland Police reported a drop in crime when He was on TV. His show was on Channel 8 and it was done live.He got the Station sued many times for the things He would say and do and the Producers were always afraid of what He might say next.
There is a book called Goulardi,Cleveland's wildest ride. You might think it's fiction but believe it or not it's all true.

That was Ernie Anderson. Papa-Ooh-Mau-Mau !

Somehow, I didn't see The Big Lebowski until a few months ago. How it slipped my radar all these years is beyond me! I felt like I'd been cheated out of something by not seeing it when it was new.:D
I know what you mean. I used to see the VHS tapes in Blockbuster (remember those?) but somehow the description on the back didn't sound interesting. One day I was at a friend's house and the movie was on tv......he made me watch it! I regretted not renting it years earlier

My Favorites?

Hard to choose:

1) Sponge Bob or Mr Crabs! Tough call, between the two.

2) I LOVE, Dora The Explorer, Boots and Swipper! Cousin Diego is OK, I Guess?

3) All the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! But I kind'a like Leonardo the best!

Dang, can you tell I've spent way to much time watching TV with my Grandson over the years???

Sarge.

Whispering Smith and his co-partner, Mushy, Johnny Yuma.
Corporal Maxwell Q. Klinger, Lee Van Cleef (aka) The Master.
Pappy Boyington, Gordon and West.
Admiral Nelson and his Captain.

Isn't he the first of the line of the 'Svengoolies'? There was a guy named Jerry Bishop that did the show in Cleveland, then he handed off the mantle to Richard Coz who does the show nationally now.

One think I really like about the show is how he gets into the background of the actors and production.

I looked it up and it seems 'The Ghoul' ran cocurrently with some of the 'Svengoolie' stuff, but the first Svengoolies go back to the 60's but wasn't picked up and broadcast until 1970????

hmmmmmmmm:confused::confused::confused:
