NRA car window sticker

Can't speak to any statistical data but I will not put any firearm related signs or decals on my car. To me, they are like putting a sign on the car that says "come and steal my gun!" Why make yourself a target?

I've recently aligned myself with this train of thought! It makes me :( but it makes sense.

I used to have an NRA sticker on my vehicle AND on the window of my home.
Not any more. Too many thieves who might be attracted by the sticker and too many "tolerant" folks who are just unstable enough to do things like take a key to the paint on your vehicle. Sad that we can't proudly display our affiliation with risking attack by cowards.

Hmmmm.....I proudly have a NRA decal on my truck and my car.

I also have, on my truck, decals supporting the UT VOLS, National Wild Turkey Federation, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and Young Life (a christian youth ministry).

I refuse to live in fear of "what might be" and I don't really care if someone else doesn't approve or not. I don't bother others and I'm not very tolerant of folks bent on bothering me.

Now thats just me, others can do and believe what they want and I'll live and enjoy my life doing the things I want. :)

2 things on the rear bumper of my truck, a 4" long piece of wide bright blue duct tape and my last "I voted" sticker that I get exiting the poll. Not enough to get the "low information" crowd fired up Joe

I had Police lives Matter sticker on my car and truck. I was going down a major street in Va. Beach in my car and a man(?) pulled up beside me and hollered " The only good cop is a dead one." I left out the profanity. I went home and removed the sticker from my car. My wife rides and drives the car and I can't take a chance on that sticker provoking something. I have two on my truck now and anytime someone in a rice burner wants to have a problem with me in my 4200lb Dodge I'm available.

Guess I called that one

. Before this thread is over someone will say that “By God they don’t live in fear and they’ll put what ever they want on their car”

I've driven mostly Volvo cars for the last 30 years or so, and get a twisted sort of amusement at the occasional double take when some latte-sippin' suburbanite notices the big NRA medallion on the rear window. Might be the only Volvo in the Midwest with both NRA and thin blue line stickers.

My ancient Dodge 3/4 tonner has a Tree Farm medallion on one lower corner of the rear window and a Chapman Academy sticker on the other.

:) Yep, you sure did.....not unusual here in Tennessee to see lots of NRA decals on all types of vehicles. Many people around here share the same feelings I do.

This used to be a country where people might disagree, but they respected the right for others to have different opinions.

Seems to me we can't get back to that kind of respect by being fearful and retreating from what we believe in.

Both my cars have the Gadsden flag in front license bracket. I do notice people looking at the flag and then looking up at me.

One guy congratulated me.

I would imagine that half of the general population has no idea what the Gladsden flag is!
Just like if you had the Bonnie Blue up front, they have no clue.

And somehow that is a problem?

My kids were both amazed when I allowed the one and only bumper sticker on my car..."Proud Parent of a Sailor."

My dad didn't like bumper stickers and such and I just fell into that way but IF I did want an NRA sticker on my car I would put one on.

I used to have an NRA sticker on my car when I lived in MD. I never had any issues. When I got my new car, I decided not to put stickers on it. I decided I didn't like advertising, plus I just don't like stickers on my car.

The only sticker on my car--is my license plate renewal sticker inside front window. I thought about putting a sticker my Nephew gave me which says : It's time to play Cowboys and muslim extremists--but decided I didnt want another sticker on my car.

One of the gun magazines recently had an article on this. The article cited several cars/trucks broken into at a large gathering for (IIRC) an outdoor show. Police said targeted vehicles were those with either gun related decals/stickers or those with outdoor equipment decals/stickers.

Regardless, I have a large, 9 inch S&W logo on the center window of my truck. And insurance too.....

I see alot of Yeti stickers on cars around here. I have no idea what it's advertising? Bigfoot maybe?

Bill O'Reilly thinks the only ones that should be seen, belong in museums;
