If so things may get a little warm :D:D:D

Levi Stause, that bastion manufacturer of demin wear, is to partner with groups working to end "gun violence" and fund their activities.

I can't remember the last pair of Levi's I owned. They are very expensive here and I can buy cheaper jeans that are just as comfortable and hard wearing.

It makes me think again about the power of the consumers wallet.

Anyone planning on burning their Levi's?

Nike - I don't wear the mark of the beast. There's no "swoosh" in my house.

Levi's, I must have a pair or two in the bottom of the drawer or back of the closet, but I don't wear them. Probably because they are over 20 years old, and my waistline is nowhere near what it was at the time they were purchased. :(

Jeans for me now are Wrangler, Lee, or Costco. Whatever fits my weird shape best.

Slightly off topic rant. They always tell you "extended sizes available online." Well, dammit, we're the kind of people who NEED to try things on! I can't do that online!

Walking through the mall recently and looked at a pair and the price was over sixty dollars, just kept walking. I am looking for a brand that fits more snugly, I am kind of tired or the baggy threads.

I am 65 and have owned one pair of Levis in my life and still have them. Much prefer to wear my $10 jeans from Academy. I don't get what these companies get by making these moves.

Levi Strauss has been anti-gun for many, many years. I believe that started in the 1980s. I have been boycotting them ever since. I bought Rustlers by Wrangler for years, as I could get seconds for $10 a pair.

When I went overseas, I was issued 5.11 cargo trousers, so started wearing them. Lots of pockets and my 2" Colt Agent hides very well in a front pocket.

Rural King opened a store nearby and their carpenter trousers are nice and roomy and have deep front pockets. A speed loader fits in the folding ruler pocket just fine. :) They are not the equal of Carhartt, but they are a lot cheaper.

Haven't worn Levi's for years, but it has nothing to do with gun politics. Wrangler Riggs have a diamond gusset in the crotch, which makes it a lot easier for a short fat guy to throw a leg over a bike. Usually I wear the ripstop cotton instead of jeans. More often I wear poly/wool worsted slacks. I accumulated quite a few pairs as uniform pants during a brief stint as a transit operator. They wear like iron and are quite comfortable.
