I saw the title and got all excited. Of course, knowing me, this was the first thing that popped into my mind. By the way, that's our friend "Old Bear" from the forum taking his very first mule ride here at the ol' homestead.:)

Nice looking Mules. LOL

I watched "Play Misty for Me" on TV there other night. Clint of the big hair and "mod" clothes. He is an amazing actor and producer. He certainly worked his way to the top. Lots of film. Rawhide, the "Dollars" movies and rest of the westerns, the "Dirty Harrys", some odd balls, then after most guys would have faded and just spend money, Million Dollar Baby, The Unforgiving, Grand Torino, etc. What a totally unsurpassed career.

Of course I have to see it.

I though this was a picture of a more handsome, buff version of Clint.

Fine actor, great director. And he really looks and sounds 88 years old. When did that happen?

It happened overnight...just as it seems to have happened to some of us.

It seems like just last weekend that my girl and I were sitting in my '57 Ford at a drive-in with a cooler full of beer, watching a double feature of A Fistful of Dollars and For a Few Dollars More. In reality, it was 1968.

Clint’s the man! He just keeps making excellent movies, what an amazing career. And I love that he’s not afraid to speak his mind regarding his beliefs. Not easy to do in the Hollywood cesspool...

That's the first thing I thought of.

Shirley is still around, 84 years old.

"Sister Sara" was Juarez fighting Maximilian. That was the mid-1860s, and I'll guess Sara at 24. Now it's 60 years later, and 88-year-old Hogan meets up with 84-year-old Sara in the mid-1920s. Two old lovers having themselves a reunion, a few years before the Crash.

Didn't really sound like a good movie.

I guess Sister Sara ran off with one of the mules, which were really burros, IIRC.

Maybe it's me, but there's a number of things in the trailer that might be alluding to this being Eastwood's last movie.

I doubt I have ever missed a Clint Eastwood movie, don't plan on missing this one either. I still think Grand Torino is one of his best. This one looks pretty good too.

I look forward to seeing Eastwood's "The Mule." I'm much less interested in anything Hollywood, but we may go see this one.

Clint Eastwood has starred in some real stinkers over the years.

He's also directed and starred in some of (in my opinion) the greatest films of the past fifty-five years. Unforgiven ranks among the greatest westerns of all time. Dirty Harry and its offshoots spawned a whole new film genre. Two of his WWII films, Flags of Our Fathers and Letters From Iwo Jima were, and remain, groundbreaking films, especially the latter, which shows the battle from the Japanese side.

I thought he and Hillary Swank were brilliant in Million Dollar Baby.

His successes far outnumber the stinkers. I wish he'd live to be a hundred, and make even more films. If Clint Eastwood is in a film, I'll watch it.
