Beware of CDNN
Hey folks, just wanted to pass along my experience to you all.
In the midst of these crazy times, I am not sure if other vendors are doing this, but I just had this experience with CDNN.
I ordered some mags online from CDNN Investments. Within an hour or so, I decided I wanted different mags so I emailed them asking to cancel my current order (which was not yet fulfilled based upon their order status), stating that I wanted different mags and I will be replacing current order with a new order.
Their email response was that due to the CV-19 virus situation, they are not able to cancel my order. They want me to return the items once I receive them, meaning I would have to pay shipping and restocking charges.
I would understand if the order has been completed and the items have already shipped. But in this situation, the order was not even fulfilled yet (less than an hour).
Is this normal?
At the very least, wanted all to know if they were planning on ordering from CDNN.
ETA: Just now realized their notice on their homepage about not being able to cancel orders...so buyer be aware

May I suggest that CDNN might be working with minimal staffing, doing their best to meet customer needs while also trying to minimize negative effects on employees (order taking, packing, shipping, etc)?
Perhaps it would be less than appropriate to base an opinion of a company's business practices while this little crisis is affecting everything and everyone. Perhaps CDNN will offer some incentive to you for following through, returning your first delivery unopened, and completing your final order?
Suggestions here, not criticism. Everyone is under some degree of stress, so maybe we need to cut each other some slack.

Ordered for years from CDNN, firearms, scopes, gun parts, magazines, list goes on and on. Never had any issue with them, always fast shipping from Abilene, TX to NE Ohio. Never a missed item, everything properly packaged to prevent damage.
Will continue to order from and recommend CDNN without hesitation.

There may be a significant lag between the order being picked and shipped and the website order status being updated. Especially if they are working with a skeleton crew.
If you really believe they are trying to screw you over, send it back and never do business with them again.

Years ago I ordered two items from CDNN and found that they shipped from two different locations, twice the shipping charges. Shame on me.

Ask them to send you pre paid postage for the return. I'm betting that they will do it. They have been in business for a long time.

Let's see. CDNN post a notice on their page (pretty prominently IMO) that orders, once submitted, can't be canceled. But now it's their fault or poor business practice because you changed your mind.
Maybe you should be sure of what you want before confirming an order.

Then he should have removed his post. How many people are just going to skim over reading the post and not see the details. When I read a thread for the first time, I start at the beginning and look at what was "said", so I don't post redundant or misleading information. His experience is vastly different from what I have experienced over the course of my dealings with CDNN. I normally wouldn't comment, but I felt another viewpoint was warranted to balance the scale, as it were.

There is nothing for "the buyer to be aware of"
Durning these crazy panic buying there are hoarders buying stuff they don't need so they can than sell later at a higher price. I have gotten several e mails from other companies flat out say this. NO Cancellations no returns.
CDNN has always been a good place to buy from, never had an issue.
Right on the front page of the website.

If a company has caveats on their web page and you don't comply, you can't complain.
If ANY company is still shipping ANYTHING these days, you can't complain.

I wonder: How large is their operation, what is their profit margin? How large is your inconvenience?

If it’s just a handful of mags that was originally ordered..... I’d just be happy and use them. Order the others later?

This is a fantastic post^
I will also add that regardless of the OP's correction, we still have a discussion that is titled Beware of CDNN and that is precisely what a forum search or an internet search will reveal. "Beware", and in my opinion, it isn't fair to a business that in a moment, a fake news click-bait style internet search return will splatter "BEWARE" with their company name attached.
No big deal, right? Well, sure. CDNN is successful enough that one little blip isn't going to make a huge difference. And the kinds of folks who read the (extremely poor) headline/search result but don't chase the conversation are the ones who'll ultimately lose by not shopping with a quality vendor like CDNN. So their loss. Unfortunately, CDNN's loss also. But again, they are awfully good at what they do, so one blip isn't going to change much.
But there are folks who don't like stupid stuff. Poster Gregor is one of 'em. I am another. So if this is a "dogpile", add me to the dog pile. This works out great for me, because I love dogs, and I also like to be on the side of what's right. CDNN has always done right by me, I've shopped with them for more than a decade.

For your information, they aren't the only online gun shop doing this. Bud's Gun Shop also has this prominently displayed on their home page too, in bright green print where it stands out.

I've purchased 2 of my guns thru CDNN, along with numerous mags and other accessories. I've never had any issue with them at all. I know it's frustrating but things are tense across the nation/ globe. Try to be understanding, and give people and companies a bit of extra leeway till things return to normal.

Just refuse the package. You are not required to accept any package from any carrier. Cancelling an on line order, that hasn't shipped yet, should be a simple process for any company. Especially with such a short time elapsed.
Now had they fulfilled your order, that's a different story. But they hadn't. I don't believe that is a good customer policy or service.
