New Bass Reeves movie - Corsicana (2020)
I'm not sure if this is a pure fictional plot or not, but I'm excited for a new Bass Reeves movie. BR is portrait by Isaiah Washington and he announced it last month via his Twitter...
Since Isaiah Washington is a free thinking pro-gun guy (he takes gun classes, training, etc.), I expect some good acting as well as excellent gun handling skills 
I have a friend who's with the USMS and he absolutely admires Bass Reeves, so it better be good 
And I think he's currently in Corsicana, TX for filming judging by his Instagram account. Maybe I should go there and try to get an autograph? Nah...

The History Channel had a show about him on a while back. If it was half true, he was an interesting character. That should make for a good movie.
I would expect a lot of it to be fiction as there isn’t a lot known about him.

Not trying to drift the thread but Corsicana has a wonderful bakery that makes a great Fruit Cake of which I have eaten some several times. It is called Colin St Bakery. They also make lots of other great cakes and cookies and yummy goodies.

We just watched the Bass Reeves movie the other night on some station, but I can't recall which.
It was good, though a lot of fictional thing that never happened.
