Burger King Ketchup

Salad sucks so yeah, I load up on ranch

Exactly what I said. You're in the company of many.

However, if you ever try a good salad dressing with an olive oil and vinegar basis (countless variations that will suit just about anyone), you might change your mind.

I don't venture in either one, Whataburger was second rate before the ownership change and is now worse.
I'll stop in Freddy's or Smashburger now.
Whataburger is much the same as it always has been, except they now have a considerably wider range of menu items. Also, their prices have escalated greatly since pre-covid days. I like their burgers better than those of the other FF chains. Stores are always neat and clean. At least locally, Smashburger chain crashed and burned years ago. AFAIK, no stores remain. There was formerly one near us, usually devoid of customers. We went there once, found it disappointing and no reason to return. Location is now a taco place, we haven't been there since. The same location was briefly part of a chain called Home Town Burger, which met the same fate as Smashburger, could never develop any market following. We also have some Freddy's, but they are a little too distant from the house for us. We have never been inside one that I can remember.

I just read that Whataburger is opening their first location in Las Vegas next year. Next to the Waldorf Astoria which is located on the Strip just north of the MGM Grand.

We have a fairly new Burger Boy location near us. Seems fairly busy when we drive by, but we are yet to visit it, so have no opinions.

Nothing to do with burger places or Ketchup, but nearby we have a Starbuck's and a Black Rifle, they are a stone's throw apart. Black Rifle parking lot is always full, Starbuck's is not anywhere close. I am sure that there is a message, but I don't know exactly what it is.

Classic Cocktail Sauce is also ketchup based! As is Comeback Sauce, some BBQ Sauces and a dozen or more other ketchup based sauces…

Yup, red cocktail sauce is just ketchup with a little horseradish
If I am having fries at Arby's I will make a slurry of Arby's Sauce and Horsey Sauce. To quote Yoda "spot hitter it is.
Pretty close to the cocktail sauce recipe.

My boy always said "Salad ain't food, salad is what my food eats"
A co-worker commenting on iceberg lettuce salad that came with her lunch said "Yeah, the lettuce has basically no nutrition - it's just a vehicle for getting the dressing in your mouth!"

Certainly not the whole story or even close to it - many prefer other lettuces to iceberg because it has little flavor, but even iceberg is a good source of fiber.

Arctic Circle still exists as on 2023! They have 71 locations located in 7 states…

Not in Seattle they don't. The two or three that used to be there closed decades ago.
In fact they have only ONE location left in the whole state of Washington - in Yakima.
Like I said, the ones I referenced folded up their tents and left a long time ago.

Ahhh yes, but fiber is not nutrition. It is a good thing to have in your diet, but it is not nutrition. If you ate nothing but iceberg lettuce you would literally starve to death.
And FWIW, she said it mostly as a joke.

All I posted was that they have 71 locations in 7 states! I didn’t list where all 71 Arctic Circle Restaurants were by address…

And I didn't say they ALL went out of business either - only that the ones I ate at did.

Really!/? You might want to reread what you posted again in comment #134:

“AFAIK they aren’t even still in business anymore - folded up their tents about 20 years ago…”

Okay, you win. Let's stay away from fiber because it's not nutritious.

Yeah really. If you read the line BEFORE the one you quoted, I was SPECIFICALLY talking about the Arctic Circle that I ate at in SEATTLE. What you're doing is called taking a statement out of context. Unless the real problem is that you can only remember the last line of what you read. That's a different problem altogether.

You might want to work on reading comprehension a little.

Or more specifically figure out how NOT to read more into what other people write than what they are actually saying. Being pedantic is not a good look.

And maybe stop trying to pick a fight every time you post while you're at it.

Look up the definition of nutrition if you don't believe me. Iceberg lettuce (specifically what my friend was joking about) is like celery. If you chew it well you burn more calories than you get from it.

As for how much fiber to eat, that is open to debate. Ever heard of "leaky gut syndrome"? One theory is that excessive consumption of fiber is a cause.

Just sayin'...

EDIT: and for the record I didn't say not to eat fiber because it isn't nutritious, I only pointed out that it is not nutritious. I didn't even say not to eat iceberg lettuce. Water isn't nutritious either, but I don't recommend cutting it out of your diet either. :D

No, I've never heard of leaky guts, but I believe you.
