Forty miles from me

Great people, great prices, tiny parking lot, and once upon a time the owner claimed he didn’t bother to insure anything he shipped. There was a thread on a local forum concerning that issue.

They regularly have great prices, so I ordered from them once. Item showed "in-stock" on their website. It wasn't... Cancelled and ordered from a shop that actually had it for a slightly higher price... the process cost me about 10 days.

I found the thread I referenced in my original reply and copied some of the discussion for you to read and decide for yourself. I tried to get them in order.

Originally, the thread began because a buyer questioned the insurance charge, as it was inconceivable to him that a seller did not bother to insure a firearm that was handed off to be shipped. The seller had an “out of sight, out of mind” attitude about it in general.

The fact that the website offers insurance as an option attests to the previous flippant attitude that a loss is a problem between the shipper and buyer.

The whole insurance thing is silly. Seller should just buy it and bury it in the cost. He’s protecting himself. If buyer doesn’t receive it the problem falls in the sellers lap.

The seller did not see it that way.

I've bought from them twice, once in 2020 & once in 2022.

Both times my firearm actually shipped from a distributor, Bill Hicks in MN.

No problems, would buy from them again.

I ordered a Colt Python Combat Elite on Monday 2/12 after hours, picked it up from my local FFL today 2/15. Excellent service and the price was $210 cheaper then Bud's.
