The Fall Guy
I was flipping through stations a while ago and saw that the 1981 pilot episode of “The Fall Guy” was coming on. I have always been a Lee Majors fan ever since “The Big Valley”. “The Six Million Dollar Man” was also a show I liked to watch.
At the end of the episode, Colt (Lee Majors) did a car stunt dressed in a dress and wearing a blonde wig. Afterwards he is walking off the set and by a large motor home. Sitting in front of it, reading a book, is the leading lady Colt did the stunt for, none other than his beautiful future wife, Farrah Fawcett. She tells him he did a great job on the stunt, and asked if he was taking care of himself, flashing her trademark smile. I always thought she was one of the most attractive actresses EVER! RIP Farrah. Thanks for the memories.

Actually, they were married at the time of the show...I think all of us know how that turned out in short order.
Farrah is mentioned in the show several times over the series run...most notably in the theme song of every episode.

Just as an aside, the new movie with Ryan Gosling is actually pretty good. I recommend it, if you haven't seen it yet.

You know, I thought he was married to her during the show, and I asked my “Siri” when were they married and she said November 15, 1988. DUMB Siri!!

Red bathing suite in front of beach blanket. I had it in my bedroom as a teenager. Now I have it in my garage at 55.

I remember coming home from Vietnam and watching TV commercials, like those with Farrah hustling toothpaste. Wow! American people had nothing better to worry themselves about than what brand of toothpaste to buy! What a country!
I think Lee Majors' first significant role was in "Big Valley", a 1960s series with Barbara Stanwick in the lead role and Linda Evans (another total babe IMO).

Farrah created the whole "big hair" fad all on her own. I recall seeing big hair at ever night club and honky tonk I ventured into back in those days.
Chased a few of them down too as I recall, ........... ahhn that's another story for for some other time......
