Yahoo mail issues.
Need advice here.
My Yahoo mail is telling me that the three browsers I use are no longer supported. As a result, I have no access to emails.
Anyone have any ideas as what I have seen from Yahoo/google/microsoft is pointless.

Have you updated the three browsers you uses recently?

I have Windows 7....and have no problems. Maybe old, but everything works.
Browsers indicated updates for Window 10 and above.

Thanks! My Firefox finally took hold after multiple tries (I had to shutdown and restart everything). All the rest are done for good.
Got my email back.

I'm using Win7 and Firefox 115.20.0esr (64-bit). Kudos to Mozilla for helping us out in that respect.

I have Firefox and Chrome, both update about every month.
If you have that problem again, you can get a new laptop at Walmart for $139

I've seen those. They last approximately 139 days!

4GB of memory isn't enough unless you just want to view email and open just one tab on your browser. As I type my laptop is using 3.73 GB of memory. All I have running are my anti-virus and 12 tabs in Firefox. On that Walmart box, get a few things open and the swap file will get hammered, the life of the SSD will be compromised.

An anemic machine suitable for only very basic tasks, but it should be okay-ish if all you need it for is email and light web browsing. Don't expect to save many files, though. That SSD is TINY! Windows itself will take over half.

Trying to log on Facebook, I must keep open three different browsers to confirm numeric codes. Not worth the trouble.

I realize the the $139 laptop was a really cheap laptop. I was just making a suggestion since people are still running Windows 7. Walmart & Best Buy normally have good prices on laptops
Since Windows 7 cut off updates five years ago in 2020, I wouldn't make any financial transactions on it.
Just saying, but it's up to you.
