Looks like on the lake I live on we have reached Ice Out time.

Rather nice to see after the crazy winter we just got over. (I hope its all done) Plow is now off the Tundra 4X4 till next year!

Water level is coming up fast and if we get any decent spring rains the water will get high enough to go over over the safety spillway.

I have re-tied all the leaders on my fishing lures for the 2nd time and
checked my tackle box out, three times.

The higher lakes in this area need the snow to melt off the back roads, to get in, yet.

Our large beaver pond is not only mostly unfrozen, but it has a Canada Goose nesting on top of the lodge. She and her gander return here almost every year to roost and make some goslings. Glad the attitudes of the two-legged Canadians haven't soured their feelings for us and our farm.
