Annealing appears severe. Picked up after laying on ground for less than 2 weeks. I assume this is manufactured from factory looking like this? Did someone anneal this case in their garage? Head stamp

I like yours and ruggyh scope mounted close to top of gun/rail. Looks better,more compact. I have seen some pics of scopes mounted approx an inch off of gun/rail. One appeared so high with a semi double ring that you could possibly use iron sights under the scope up close or as a BUIS. Is the...

I'm new to scoping handguns. I have a 10.5 inch .500 you show in your pic and want to find a scope for it. What model Leupold do you have on gun in picture? Hog hunting and general fun shooting is what I will do with it.
