TRS-25 are great, affordable red dot. Especially for a .22lr build. have one on my dedicated AR 22 (that takes M&P 22 magazines) on the medium UTG riser. If memory serves it is .83" riser model RS08S3.
Absolute copwitness with Magpul BUIS. I like that!
Frog lube on my pistols. Fireclean on my rifles. Frog lube on any semi auto .22 sounds like a bad idea since the lube clings to the fouling for easy cleanup! Seems like on .22 firearms it would gum them up faster.
I have been following the M&P 15-22 sub forum for some time. I have four M&P pistols and a dedicated (CMMG) AR22 that I use the Better Mag adapter so I can use 15-22 magazines.

you chose well. I have Ameriglo pro i-dots on my full size, compact, 22, and shield. So much easier on my eyes to line up. Just drop the dot in the rounded back notch and pull the trigger!
That is the backstrap texture that normally comes with the Pro Series of M&Ps. WOnder if they just ran out of medium regulars are are going to start packaging in the new grips with the regular line of M&Ps.
There are many M&P owners that would like to get the ProSeries backstraps
I am a lefty and carry the Shield. Would I like Ambi controls? Yes. But you can train and be very good with the Shield. I have use the slide lock/release to release the slide to chamber a round. I prefer the "slingshot method to put the gun back to work. The thumb safety rarely goes on. On...
