It's a great gun. It's in my edc rotation. Easy and fun shooter.like chiefstealth said, don't baby it. The spring is real tight but will loosen up over time.

I have an alien gear for a different gun of mine. It doesn't even come close to the comfort level and quality of my hidden hybrid holster That I have for my shield. I would give them a look.

Don't laugh but have you thought about the taurus pt 111g2? I have one and its awesome. I haven't had a single issue with it. I alternate between it and my shield 9.

I did it to my shield. Love the way it feels. I did it to my taurus too but the frame material is different because it didn't take to well. No biggie though. Just covered it with grip tape.

I agree. Something foe the grip. (I stippled) a good holster. Hidden hybrid holster for me. But you guys are forgetting one thing. Lots of ammo because it's fun to shoot!

Call me crazy but I went the permanent rout and stippled my shield. I love it. And I carry min in a hidden hybrid holster. I also have the alien gear tuck for a different gun but I like the hhh better. It's more comfortable and higher quality

Just wanted to say that even though I'm not a great shot, at 10 yds with cheap tulammo, I'm proud of my shield. Love this gun

Great advice. I second this. What better way to learn than to learn on a gun that is already messed up. No harm no foul. If you mess it up, just re do it. Not like it's your favorite m&p.. I actually wouldn't mind having a gun like this just for this reason lol. Tinker away!

The alien gear holster is....it's ok... it is what is. It was cheap. The leather is not high quality. I have had it 2 days now and as you can see, there is already some wear on the outer edges. I love my hidden hybrid holster. I have had it a few months now and wear it every day for at least...
