I bought mine about a year ago. As soon as I got it home I installed the Glock Magazine Block and switched the charging handle to the left side (I'm a rightie but still like the handle on the left side), and mounted a Vortex Strikefire on it. I've only run about 100 rounds through it so I can't...
I just picked up a M&P 2.0 9mm that I won at a pistol tournament. Being totally immersed in Glock culture, I am not really into the hinged trigger on the 2.0. I have been looking at the Apex Action Enhancement Trigger in both polymer and aluminum to change the trigger feel. I have no...
I currently own three 686's (2.5", 4", and 6") and have owned several others. Absolutely my favorite revolver model. I've never owned a Colt Python so I can't speak intelligently about them. I would like to own one, not to shoot, but just to show people. Kinda like a t-shirt I once saw that...
I have owned 2 Shield 9's and shot a T&E LC9 when they were first introduced. I never could feel real comfortable with the Shields and opted not to purchase the LC9 after the T&E program. I sold my 2nd Shield to purchase my G-43 and have never looked back. I've carried Glocks on duty since...
My M-686 (No Dash) 4" that I bought new in the early 80's is my most beloved. Oddly enough, my 2" model 64-4 beats out my other 686's as my 2nd favorite.
While I've had numerous 29's and 629's in the past, I currently own a 5.5" Ruger Redhawk in .44 Magnum and a Super Redhawk in .454 Casull. I'm itching for either a 4" 629 or 5" Classic 629.
The last several pin matches that I shot at a local indoor range were the man on man variety. I shot my Glock M-35, .40 S&W with a Lonewolf ported Barrel. Ammo was some of my handloads with 180 Hornady XTP's at about 900 FPS. Worked nicely with little muzzle flip.
Last Week I purchased a Smith and Wesson M&P 10, .308 on Thursday and a Glock 19X on Friday. I have been wanting the M&P 10 for a couple of years and the 19X since they were released. Have to slow down a bit now though.
Its strictly a shooter and not a collector piece. I'll just keep on shooting it as long as it will let me. I'm in it for less than $300 so I'm not hurting.
