I have a few Model 19 and the oldest is a 19-2. They are all 2,5” barrel. I have a 19-6 that the hammer has been bobbed, has had an amazing trigger job done to it and I want to know who is the best to send it to for magna ports?
TIA
Yes they are the stock grips. The grips are made by Ahrends Grips. I do believe it is contoured to the grips. Your ideal about the grips may be the very answer. I would think if it was liquid I would have found some rust, but I didn’t. Both of your ideals beat all I have heard so far. I have...
Can anyone explain why my 325PD is unfinished under the grip? I bought it used and was just curious. I own other PD revolvers and they do not look like this. Photo was taking in the middle of taking off side plate. So I know the screws are missing.

I hate to raise a dead thread, but I want to know if anyone has had any luck with the milling process on S&W 9mm EZ PC yet? I would like to put a Trijicon RMRcc.
I am in search for an original rear sight of anyone hears of one. From reading Brownells theirs only fit “modern” 629’s. I may be looking for something that will not be easy to find.
Thanks
What is extra about the “Lee Horton?” I have The Standard Catalog S&W Second Edition book and I see nothing extra about the “Lew Horton.” Did they polish the trigger, change the hammers,etc...?
Edit: those are the exact grips I bought for a lot of money. :)
I finally found me a 3” S&W 629-1. It is ported already and is in great shape. I sure would like it if someone could take the serial number and tell me something about the gun. It is a round butt and serial number is#AWF6673.
