    Remove the safety-use a plug to cover the hole. In case of warranty work, put the safety back in before you send it to S&W.

    Yes, a turret kit would speed things up considerably over a single stage press. I recommend the Lee Classic Turret press.

    Go with the Loadmaster-has 5 stations to only 3 for the Lee Pro 100.

    A second disadvantage would be the rounds available to you in the Shield. The Shield would normally qualify as a BUG in IDPA. But shoot it and have fun.
