I cant tell from the pix K or N but targets they are that someone has reshaped by sanding the checkering! Could be the Cats Meow to the right hands but value wise not so much.

That was my thinking when I post the comment, I think now however my thinking was unfounded. Very possible the box held a K38 with serial no K221140 of around 1954 vintage!

When does a Model of 1905 4th Change Target become a K-38 Model (or Model K-38)? I guess I'm confused about the...
I like the Post War M&P rather than Pre Model 10! Pre-Model 10 would start with the C prefix in my way of thinking!

Oh by the way that is a High condition shooter & one that would by hard to pass up, assuming the price was reasonable.
