Wouldn't a worn reamer cut an UNDERSIZE chamber?

    S&W vs Ruger revolvers

The P-51 was designed by North American Aviation, after the British had visited and enquired as to whether NAA could build Curtiss P-40's for them. The then president of NAA, offered to design and build a better mousetrap for the Brits, and do it inside 180 days. Edgar Schmued...

anybody shoot a S&W gen 3 in comp?

I still use my 5906 PPC9 (6") in our national Police and services match. It's kinda like your PPC match. It's still plenty good enough to win.

    "5906 Never SOLD to Civilians!"

Well, technically he is right, but only if it was a PPC 9 model of the 5906.......

New M&P Parts available soon from Apex

Man, I keep seeing all these trick parts for S&W from the likes of Randy and some others, but how/when are we gonna see some of them down here in OZ? I know there's difficulties with the G, but you know, we shoot too........

Lets see your S&W Revolvers With A Factory Adjustable Front Sight

Guess they weren't very popular over there. They were here in Australia - once upon a time when Smith still made them. I have 2, a 586 6", and 686 6". They were especially popular here in Oz for service match. Service match is kinda like your PPC, but allowed adjustable front as well as...

    357 Mag D/A Revolver - ASTRA

Friends, I know it isn't a Smith, but I'm after any help I can get. Need a lead on spares for this revolver, specifically, a firing pin. You guys have been very helpful in the past, and if someone doesn't have an answer around here, then I bet no one does. So, any leads? Thanks in advance.

Endshake bearings or stretching the crane?

Interesting question. How do you guys true up the inside of the cylinder prior to fitting the shims? Is there a tool made for this? Thanks.

S&W COST OF REPLACING A BARREL

If the throats are undersized, why not just ream the cylinder throats to the proper size? Was a common problem on some of the 625 guns built early on.

On push off of a S&W Revolver!

Surely you mean a 5# DA pull? A 5# SA pull wouldn't pass initial armourers inspection for a smith revolver.
