A coke can would be in trouble at 100 yards.
There's no magnification so if you can see it and can put the dot on it.... 5 MOA is about the size of a Blackberry or Iphone.
I had one for a couple of years, bought it used for $210 OTD and ended up getting $225 trade value towards a G21.
The trigger was pretty heavy but made me a better shooter.
I never had the least trouble with mine (9VE).
For the money it's a steal. Just let folks keep talking smack about them-it...

Check this one out. I almost bought one a few years ago at $200+. My brother just purchased this for his MP 15-22 and it's very nice. Quick on target and easy to use.
The biggest reduction comes from reducing the hump on the back of the sear. Use some 1500grt finishing paper with some light oil on a flat surface to reduce the hump. Whatever you do don't totally eliminate it. I didn't reduce the engagement surface which is the top of the sear.
I did the Burwell online trigger job to mine which made a nice improvement to my M&P45c. You can't even tell the trigger's moving til it breaks at 4.5lbs.

I just polished the exposed chamber part of the bbl with some 2000 grit sandpaper. The same with just the tip of the guide rod. 1 part boredom + 1 part sandpaper.:)
