What are the differences and pros & cons with respect to the 3900, 4900, 5900, and 6900 series semi-autos? I see where a 3913 goes for more than a 6906 etc. Is there an advantage to a single stack over double? Just very interested. I have a 6906 that I am very pleased with.

Is it worth it? I find it to be very easy to reload a .22 magazine so why the big deal for increasing it by 2?

You could go to S&W website and then find customer service or something like that. Then search for dept. that will research for that gun using the serial number. It costs $50.00 but worth every penny with an old one like you have. I did mine and discovered it to be a 1905 model sold to hardware...
