    3-inch Barrel $$ Madness!

I just acquired my 3rd 3" S&W, a 686+, to go along with my 65-3, and 620PC. I guess I need to get some pictures up, huh?

The Blood Work Gods have smiled upon me - 2 of 302 original 627-PC's are now mine!!

I'd never let the virgin twin keep me from picking up on her slutty sister.

Miss Mountain Gun but sure like Alaskan

I found the Alaskans to be extremely accurate. Surprisingly so.

    Model 627 4" vs 629 4"

Well, I've already cast my vote for the .44 mag, but there's a lot to be said for 8 rounds of .357. Especially, if you stoke it with hot 200 gr. loads.

How about a 41 Magnum Show and Tell?

These photos make me miss my Model 57 and Ruger Blackhawk. I always wanted to find a Marlin lever gun to match calibers with those guns back when I had them. Never found one, and now some of you guys post pictures of several Marlin .41 mags.

    629 4" Mountian Gun Unfluted 4" Magna-Port Rare?!?!

That's a beauty, for sure. Can't help with any info, but I, for one, like big bore Magna-Ported revolvers.

    Today's gun show find... 686 CS-1

Nice find. I'll trade you a pickup truck for it.

    Model 627 4" vs 629 4"

Between the two you listed, I'd go 629. You can never have too much gun when you are back packing.

Yet another M627-PC UDR/Blood Work question - Old vs New

So, that's what happened to that gun!? I've had the 627 UDR on my Bud's wish list since September. Got an email notification from Bud's yesterday. By the time I followed their link...it was gone! Congrats on a fine shootin' iron! Maybe I'll get the next one they get in.

Miss Mountain Gun but sure like Alaskan

I've made similar moves when trading firearms. Some even worse. I've owned two Alaskans, both the .454 and .44 mag versions. While they are nice guns, I'm back to a 629 3". I've tried to like the .454 in three or four different guns including a lever action carbine. It's either just too much...

Going Price for New 627 PC?

What seems to be the average selling price for new 627 PC snub nose(Bloodwork) revolvers?

    Opinions on 2 5/8 .41 mag P.C. N frame?

If you say so. I guess a lot of people would consider a 3" a snubbie. To me it's just a perfectly balanced handgun.

    Opinions on 2 5/8 .41 mag P.C. N frame?

I love the PC snubbies. Though, I don't own any. I do own a 629 3" PC gun. I guess that is close enough for a snubby. I've lusted after the 627 and 651 PC guns, too.

    Lipstick on a Pig (Herrett's on a 646)

I'm going out on a limb here, but I think the "pig" comment refers to the 646. Not that it's not a nice looking gun. But, rather it's an odd caliber to chamber a revolver in. While a 10mm revolver can shoot both the .40 S&W and the 10mm. The 646 is stuck with just the .40, but then a model 15...
