Thank you for the information. This one hasn't been rebored as it won't accept 38 specials. I only paid shooter price but just couldn't let it get away as it feels so good in hand. Should be a great way to burn up some old ammo. I thank you for your expertise.

I recently bought a 38 S&W 2" barrel Victory revolver. Serial number is v143595 on butt, rear face of cylinder and rear of yoke seen through cylinder hole. No lanyard in open hole. Finish is parkerized or similar. Marked "United States Property on left top strap. Previous owner had...
Thank you for the response. I bought this last weekend at lgs for 275. This gun is an honest 98%. Too cool to pass up although these are not my main interest. I thought "wetmore" may be an edition or variation that someone may have heard of. For me researching and studying a new find is half...
does the name wetmore inscribed on the topstrap of a da32 4th model have any significance? wish i could post pictures but my camera is gone on vacation with children. thanks for any info.
It's home now where it belongs. When I'm done making amends with my financial adviser (wife) I'll clean it up and post pictures. Can't wait to try some wad cutters in it. Happy days.
yeah, a k38. scsw says 1959. diamond grips,no box or tools. The problem is that I have 2 15s but no 14 and i want it especially with that barrel length. Say good-bye to more money.....................
4 inch. On one hand I hoped it was something rare and on the other being more common I won't mind keeping and shooting it. The gun is about 95%. Paid $350. Thanks for the responses.
Chambers .22Mags. Definately marked 18-4. Barrel is stamped 22MRF Serial number is 84k1619. It's got me stumped. I also have an 18-3 chambered as it should be.
I recently bought a model 18-4 chambered for .22wmr and stamped as such on the barrel. I can find no information on this gun. Any help will be appreciated.
This is my first post. I am a lifelong shooter and patron member of the NRA. Two weeks ago I bought an 18-4 in .22 wmr. I can find no information on 18's ever being produced in 22mag. Any comments?
